When you get a refund

We refund without discussion when:

If something is faulty

If a pattern, PDF export or feature you paid for is faulty or not as described, we'll fix it first; if we can't within a reasonable time, you get a refund or a price reduction. The fix costs you nothing and we try to make it as easy as possible for you, for example by re-exporting your PDF. If the fault is serious, you can ask for a refund straight away (legal guarantee of conformity, articles 135-octies and following of the Italian Consumer Code, from EU Directive 2019/770).

Our support assistant, Yuni Care, helps first: she tries to reproduce the problem, suggests a workaround or a new export, and passes bugs to us. Refund decisions follow the rules on this page.

When we may refuse a refund

If you open a chargeback with your bank, we pause the refund request until the bank decides, so you aren't paid twice. A refusal never overrides the rights the law gives you: the legal guarantee for faulty or non-conforming digital content (articles 135-octies and following of the Italian Consumer Code) and your right of withdrawal where it applies always remain.

How to ask for a refund

To withdraw online: Withdraw from contract here. Fill in your name, the purchase and your email, then press "Confirm withdrawal". You don't need an account, and you see the acknowledgement of receipt, with the date and time, straight away; we also send it to you by email.

Or by email:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject "Refund" (or "Withdrawal").
  2. Tell us the name and email you used to pay, roughly when you paid, and what it was for (for example "founding deposit"). The Stripe receipt number helps but isn't required.
  3. For the deposit or a withdrawal, a clear sentence such as "I want my deposit back" is enough; you don't have to explain why. For a fault, tell us briefly what went wrong.

You may also use this model withdrawal form (optional):

To Nivation Solutions (Yuni), [email protected]:
