Realistic Yuni
The same portrait as the still: soft breathing, natural blinks, a slight head sway and a gentle curl sway.
Everything you need, nothing in the way.
Turn your own crochet designs into patterns you can check row by row, export them as a clean PDF, and sell them as your own digital product. Yuni also keeps count while your hands are busy and keeps your projects on your own device.
Yuni's eyes: one soft grey-green, one honey-brown.
Yuni is made for crocheters who design their own pieces. You bring the idea. Yuni helps you write it up, checks the maths, and gives you a PDF you can sell as your own.
Write your rows yourself, or let the AI-assisted generator draft a simple shape for you to change.
Each row shows whether its stitch count adds up and says why when it doesn't. A gauge check and a 3D preview help before you hook a single stitch.
Export a clean, multi-page PDF in your browser and sell it in your own shop as your own digital product. The preview saves a watermarked sample; the clean PDF comes with Studio and in the beta.
Your patterns belong to you. The patterns you make with Yuni and their PDF exports are yours, with full commercial rights: sell them, publish them, license them and sell what you make from them, with no royalties and no credit to Yuni required. Yuni's own app, templates and artwork, and other people's patterns, are not part of that. AI-assisted drafts may look like other patterns, so there is no exclusivity. The full terms are published before any paid feature opens.
Yuni keeps you company while you crochet. Pick the look you like: the realistic Yuni or Mini Yuni, her small round mascot self. Both blink, breathe and react, and both keep her two eye colours.
The same portrait as the still: soft breathing, natural blinks, a slight head sway and a gentle curl sway.
A cheerful little mascot with bouncy curls. She waves hello, cheers when you finish a row, and gets sleepy late at night.

These are the parts of the app that are built and being tested right now, before the beta opens to people on the waitlist.
The generator drafts simple shapes from a fixed list of stitches, and every row shows whether its stitch count adds up. Each draft is labelled as AI-assisted.
Stitch and row counters with undo. Tap anywhere, use a key or a page turner, or count by voice: "stitch", "row done", "undo". Camera counting is an early demo that runs on your device.
A light 3D preview shows the finished piece, from a hat or plush to a granny square, scarf or simple sweater, and follows the row you are on. It's a drawing of the stitch maths, never a photo.
Keep a YouTube video in a small dock beside your counter. In Chrome and Edge, a tiny counter can float over any window. Copy-protected streaming players stay in their own window.
Export a multi-page PDF in your browser: cover, materials and gauge, step drawings, numbered rows, a symbol chart and a checklist. Wearables grade from 6XS to 6XL.
Each pattern gives you a gauge. Type in what you measured and Yuni tells you whether it matches or to try another hook size.
Switch between US and UK stitch names, with standard chart symbols alongside the written rows.
The current row is highlighted in small chunks, and the screen stays awake while a project is open.
Large buttons, a text size slider up to 200%, and calm day and night themes.
What the generator can't do yet. It drafts simple shapes only: hats and flat panels, plush spheres, granny squares, scarves and simple sweaters. It refuses stitches it doesn't know, and it can't shape complex animals or figures on its own. A checked stitch count is not a tested make, so every draft stays marked AI-assisted until a person has made it.
A learning path of ten worked example designs, in order from beginner to expert, including an original reversible octopus. Each one is a full pattern you can follow from the first stitch.
An explainer that walks you through Nimbo, a little whale, one round per screen: an animated demo of each stitch, the round written out, and a big live counter you tap as you go, while a 3D piece grows with you.
Nimbo works as a prototype and is being tested. The ten designs are planned. Neither is in the app yet. They will appear here when you can use them.
Crochet together in small rooms of 2 to 8 people, all following the same pattern, like a group call where everyone's row is on show.
Each person's tile shows their row counter and progress, so nobody has to ask "which row are you on?"
Stuck? Pin your hand camera for the group so others can see what your hook is doing.
Rooms open by link or code. There's no public room list, and the host can lock the room.
Today Crochet Circle runs only in private test rooms. It opens to more people after testing.
Yuni's wild curls are always hers, but you can change a few small things.
These looks come from Yuni's character files, which are still being finished. The options are on their way into the app.
Each line is a real milestone. Done means it is already in the build. The yarn ball fills by the done count divided by the total. The percentage is that same figure, rounded to the nearest whole number.

Pick a name, a personality, and any accessories. Mini Yuni answers with a short line, then you can make a little card and download it as a picture. It all stays in this page. Nothing is saved or sent.

Yuni School is the lesson side of the project: how to hold the yarn, how a row is counted, how a pattern is checked. The first goal is 3,000 EUR. Donations are not open on this page, so the counter is the real amount.

Early supporters: help shape Yuni before everyone else. 200 numbered beta testers, then 2,000 founder spots at €8.99, then €9.99 for Studio. Yuni is made by one independent maker, for people close to him who struggled with crochet patterns. The first people in help test it, help shape it, and get a better deal for it. The numbers are real, and small on purpose.
Every paid plan is a monthly subscription, with no ads. Guide covers the basics, Studio is the full Yuni, and Yuni Club is the inner circle with a new pattern every month, included. Nothing is on sale yet: the beta is a waitlist for now. Pending launch, the plan is this. The beta opens to people on the waitlist for 200 Beta Testers, numbered #1 to #200. Then, from 10 Nov, 2,000 Founder spots open for 60 days. Beta Testers and Founders are two separate groups, and both pay €8.99 a month, locked for life. Founders get no number and no Beta Tester badge. After that, new subscribers pay €9.99 a month for Studio, and a Founding Supporter waitlist opens.

Yuni is a small, independent project. No ads, and we never sell your data. Supporting her is what keeps it that way.
Nothing is on sale yet: the beta is a waitlist. The preview includes Pattern Doctor 3 times per tester; unlimited Pattern Doctor comes with Studio at €9.99 a month, or at €8.99 a month as a Beta Tester or a Founder. The preview, the monthly plans, their prices and features, the Yuni Club pattern and coupon, the beta, the 200 Beta Tester spots, the 2,000 Founder spots, the Founding Supporter waitlist and all the perks are plans and may change before launch. Subscriptions will be for adults, or with a parent's permission.

Beta Testers are the beta: 200 spots, numbered #1 to #200. They try new builds first and help shape Yuni with their feedback. Spots are limited, and testers are picked by their answers, not by who came first.

Early supporters: help shape Yuni before everyone else. The beta is a waitlist for now: nothing is on sale and no payment is taken. Leave your email and I'll write to you once, when the beta opens to people on the list. The beta has 200 Beta Tester spots, numbered #1 to #200.
One email, only when the beta opens. No newsletter, no sharing, no trackers.
Yuni Care is Yuni's support helper. She tries to reproduce a problem, suggests a fix or a fresh PDF export, and passes bugs to the team. A person looks at anything she can't answer. Billing and refunds are always handled in private. Until she's ready, write to [email protected].
Read the refund policy, or withdraw from contract here. Both are drafts until real payments start.
A quicker Yuni assistant that runs on your own phone or computer, so simple questions and commands are answered without leaving your device. It is being built and tested and isn't in the app yet.
AI transparency: I'm Yuni, your crochet helper. I write patterns and answers with AI, so I can get things wrong: check the stitch counts and make a swatch first.
Your patterns and photos stay on this device. Yuni does not use them to train anything unless you explicitly agree. You can download a backup file at any time.
Generated patterns are marked "Generated with Yuni AI". Previews are drawings of the stitch math, never fake photos of a finished piece.
Spot a problem in a row? Leave a note on that row. It is saved in your browser, not sent anywhere.
Every pattern shows whether it is untested, tested by you, or tested by the community. No made-up star ratings.
An honest list, with no dates yet. Each item says where it really stands today.
Yuni is still being built and tested. The beta is a waitlist for now: there's no release date yet, and nothing to buy. Join the waitlist and I'll write to you once, when the beta opens.
